As part of the Junior World Championship, more than a thousand young athletes from 12 to 17 years old will take to the tatami. Karatekas represent six countries: Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

Performances are held in various disciplines, among them: kata, nunchaku fights, fights in limited contact, full contact and full contact in means of protection and Tanto Fight competitions will also take place at the IASKF Festival.
