About a thousand representatives of different countries gathered under the arches of the Suzdal Arena. Alexander Filyushkin, Master of Sports of Russia of international class, read out a welcoming speech from the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin to the participants, guests and organizers of international competitions. In addition, guests of honor spoke to the audience: Acting Governor of the Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeev, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region Roman Kavinov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the VIII convocation from the Republic of Buryatia Vyacheslav Damdintsurunov, as well as President of the International All-Style Karate Federation, chief judge of the competition Ramil Gabbasov.
