More than 1000 athletes will take part in martial arts competitions as part of the IX Summer Olympics
October 1-5, 2019 Anapa will host martial arts competitions as part of the final stage of the IX summer Olympics for Russian students.The sports program included six kinds of martial arts — aikido, all-style karate, kickboxing, kyokushin, thai boxing and wushu. The competition will bring together more than 1000 athletes from 67 regions of the Russian Federation.The general management of the organization of the Martial Arts Games is carried out by the Ministry of Sports of Russia, the Federal State Budgetary Institution “The Federal Center for the Preparation of the Sports Reserve,” the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the field of physical culture and sports, and the Executive Directorate of the Russian Union of Martial Arts.
