From October 13 to 15, the IX Eurasia Cup (EurAsiaCup) in all-style karate was held in the Sterlitamak Sports Palace in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Sterlitamak.
Athletes from more than 40 regions of Russia and 15 countries of the world took part in it. The total number of participants is 2,523 in all types of programs.
Within the framework of the multisport event, for three days, from October 13 to 15, festivals among children and veterans of the IX EurAsiaCup, All-Russian competitions in all-style karate among children from 12 years old and international competitions in all-style karate were held. The last two are included in the Unified Calendar Plan of the Ministry of Sports of Russia, according to the results of which it is possible to fulfill the standard of MSMC, MS, CMS.
For four years in a row, the Eurasia Cup project (EurAsiaCup) has won a grant from the Presidential Grants Fund of the Russian Federation. In 2023, he also received grant support from the Foundation of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan. According to the results of 2022, the competition entered the TOP 100 best projects in Russia (out of more than 50 thousand nominees).
In the team competition among the countries, the Russian national team took first place, the Republic of Tajikistan took second place and the Republic of Kazakhstan took third place.
In the team competition among the regions, the first place was won by the hosts — the Republic of Bashkortostan, the second place — the Samara region and the third place — the Vladimir region.
